Grrrr! Flex 3 SDK Doesn’t Support Charting

If you are using the free Adobe Flex 3 SDK and try to use charting you will receive the following error:

“Error: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: AreaChart”

Apparently charting is not included in the free Flex SDK. You will need to purchase Flex Builder 3 Pro to get the charting components (also includes the advanced datagrid).

Oh Adobe!
